Reticular Veins

Reticular veins, also known as feeder veins, are the dilated blue and green veins found deeper beneath the skin surface. These veins are enlarged due to an increase in venous pressure and will often give rise to a cluster of spider veins in a fan-like pattern. Reticular and spider veins are usually considered a cosmetic problem since they do not lead to substantial medical symptoms or complications.
